The secret to meditation is this: breathing. Using breathing is the fastest and most effective way of getting into a meditative state. Combining breathing with an upright body posture activates the rest and digest part of your nervous system. Once this is present, it is easy to embrace the saying that goes “See the thoughts, but don’t hold on to them”. And just like that, you will be in a meditative state.
